Job description

Friendship Fields is seeking a dependable student worker to be a Learning Coach to assist the instructor in the classroom by supporting the students with written assignments, helping the students follow directions, and working with the students' abilities, modifying tasks as appropriate. Assist students to navigate the cafeteria, field trips, library, lower and upper Casado, McKay Gym, and other locations as they are presented.

Friendship Fields is open from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Shifts available are 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 

Must be enrolled as a student at Friends University.

Must be dependable, teachable, punctual, patient, and compassionate.

Experience with special education, future teachers, upbeat, positive, outgoing, creative, willing to share ideas and to be guided.

Strong interpersonal communication skills and patience. Ability to display empathy for and interest in the students.
