Elica’s Dental program includes comprehensive dental services, dental residency program, mobile dental program, and school-based dental program. We employ the latest technology to efficiently and effectively serve our Dental patients. Our state of the art Dental facilities are equipped with panoramic x-rays and digital intraoral scanners to take impressions and engage patients in their oral health care. Our dentists and residents are certified in the use of the 9.3 micron CO2 hard and soft tissue laser, which allows us to perform fillings without the need for local anesthesia. This laser also allows us to provide additional services to our patients such as gingivectomies and crown lengthening without needing to refer to specialists. Our electronic health records system is integrated with our Medical and Integrated Behavioral Health departments to allow us to work together to improve the overall health of our community.


What You'll Do:

The Treatment Coordinator is a key team member ensuring the patient receives their needed and wanted dentistry. The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that patients receive all information required for dental appointments including; scheduling appointments, insurance verification, preparing treatment plans for future dental care, as well as addressing any patient concerns. Additionally, the Treatment Coordinator will assist with answering phone calls, greeting patients, and maintaining office appearance.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in dental setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
  • Current BLS certified
  • Experience with EPIC Wisdom and/or dental scheduler preferred
  • Experience with dental office billing
  • Knowledge of government (MediCal) and non-government payers for dental insurances.
  • Knowledge of with dental terminology
  • Must be able to educate parents and patients on the benefits of dental treatment
  • Ability to present treatment plans and take financial payments
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment and meet daily production targets
  • Ability to show initiative and adaptability in the workplace
  • Ability to plan and organize day and workflow
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, or Russian preferred

  • Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.
