We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Materials Planner I currently based in our Chino, CA warehouse*. The Materials Planner will work in the Purchasing department and reports directly to the Materials Planning Manager. The Purchasing department is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply for all outbound goods/raw materials for assigned Warehouses and Stores, while maintaining a high-level of service that translates to a positive customer experience.
*This position is full-time, in-office/in-warehouse only
General Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily Store needs assessment by generating reports to confirm accuracy of Store orders; make adjustments to orders as needed
  • Generate detailed reports using Excel
  • Helps with Materials planning using Excel to forecast, track data, create reports, etc.
  • Manages the outbound and inbound orders for all materials and goods in the stores
  • Answer phone calls from Stores with ad-hoc requests; update Store orders as necessary
  • Build and monitor levels across all distribution centers and ensure daily continuity of supply
  • Manage inventory levels across designated Warehouse facilities; ensure assigned Warehouses do not run out of key items/raw materials
  • Support PO to invoice matching efforts and resolve invoice payment issues

Work Schedule + Benefits
  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
  • Pay Range is $28.90-$31.00 per hour
  • The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
  • Shift Hours: SUN-THUR, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; days off are Friday/Saturday Or TUE-SAT, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; days off are Sunday/Monday
  • Department needs may call for occasional overtime; some holiday availability required
  • Location: Chino, CA warehouse

INO Associate Qualifications
  • In-N-Out Burger Store experience - Minimum of 2 years in the stores (store knowledge is preferred for this role)
  • Store experience: Level 5 or above preferred
  • Support experience - Minimum of 1 year in Support with previous Store experience

Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, Material Planning, Purchasing, or related field, is strongly preferred
  • Advance knowledge of Excel - Must be able to build and apply advanced formulas, Use the Formula tab and Functions library, have strong working knowledge of Charts, be able to troubleshoot in Excel, etc.
  • Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) Management & Procurement experience
  • Forecasting and Ordering /Ordering products for the Warehouse
  • Basic knowledge of High Jump is highly desirable
  • 2+ years of Warehouse experience is preferable

Physical Demands/Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Warehouse environment - Frequent standing, walking, siting, reaching, carrying, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling
