Job description

As a Marketing Associate, you will support the execution and advancement of marketing initiatives that promote company brands, products, and business objectives. This role coordinates and manages assigned marketing projects, develops marketing and communication materials, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and programs. To be successful in this role you will exercises independent judgment in managing priorities, coordinating resources, and recommending solutions that support marketing effectiveness and brand consistency.
This role is onsite in our St. Louis. MO (Creve Coeur) office, with the ability to work from home a few days per month.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Brand Support
  • Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives that support company and proprietary brands.
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional programs.
  • Develop, revise, and distribute marketing collateral, presentations, sales support materials, and other branded content.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand standards, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing materials.
  • Champion private label and proprietary brand programs through marketing execution and project coordination.

Project Management & Coordination
  • Manage assigned marketing projects from initiation through completion, including timelines, deliverables, approvals, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Category Management, Creative, Digital Marketing, Sourcing, and other business teams to ensure project alignment and execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential obstacles, and develop recommendations to maintain project timelines and objectives.
  • Prioritize competing assignments and adjust project schedules as business needs evolve.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and communication records.

Marketing Communications
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and coordinate content for internal and external communications.
  • Engaged in the development and deployment of email campaigns, newsletters, digital content, social media initiatives, and promotional communications.
  • Coordinate communication schedules and marketing calendars to ensure timely execution of campaigns and messaging.
  • Review marketing content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to branding standards.

Internal Communications & Engagement
  • Manage employee communication initiatives designed to improve engagement and awareness of company programs.
  • Coordinate content for newsletters, announcements, recognition programs, and company events.
  • Maintain communication resources, content libraries, photos, testimonials, and related marketing assets.

Process Improvement & Reporting
  • Analyze project workflows and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and execution.
  • Track project and campaign metrics and prepare reports that support marketing decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, project tracking, and resource utilization.
  • Engaged in improvement initiatives within the marketing function.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, project management, brand support, sales enablement, or a related area.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand management initiatives.
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, email marketing, project management, or content management systems.
  • Digital marketing and social media platform experience.
  • Familiarity with analytics and performance reporting tools.
  • High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated internal and external clients
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to ensure that a high level of service and quality is maintained
  • Product knowledge with clear technical understanding of services to be able to effectively communicate to customer
  • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines
