Job Description
The Publicis Media Business Development team is responsible for driving new client growth across our network of agencies, capabilities, and disciplines. As an Associate, you will play a central role in orchestrating high-stakes new business opportunities from early pursuit through final pitch delivery.
This is not a traditional sales role. This role is a highly cross-functional position at the intersection of strategy, operations, storytelling, and executive-level pitch management. You will help bring together the best of Publicis Media's Power of One offering - across media, data, technology, commerce, content, performance, and platform partnerships - and ensure our teams show up with clarity, cohesion, and competitive advantage.
Working closely with Publicis Media U.S. leadership, agency teams, capability leads, and Global Business Development, you will help manage the full pitch process, elevate the quality of our materials, support senior stakeholders, and ensure every opportunity is delivered with rigor, precision, and impact.
Responsibilities
Shape the Story
  • Help turn Publicis Media's full range of capabilities into clear, compelling pitch narratives that show clients why we are built to win.
  • Support the development of pitch decks, RFI/RFP responses, credentials, case studies, executive briefings, and other new business materials
  • Work with Business Development leads and subject matter experts to connect inputs across media, data, technology, analytics, social, commerce, programmatic, investment, and agency teams
  • Help translate complex capabilities into simple, differentiated, client-relevant stories
  • Partner with design and production teams to bring ideas to life visually and ensure materials feel polished, cohesive, and pitch-ready
  • Maintain consistency across materials so every submission and presentation feels connected to the larger Publicis Media story

Orchestrate the Moment
  • Support the planning and delivery of high-stakes pitch moments, ensuring teams are aligned, prepared, and able to deliver with confidence.
  • Help manage pitch workstreams from kickoff through final submission or presentation
  • Build and maintain project plans, workback schedules, timelines, meeting agendas, status trackers, and deliverable lists
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across agencies, capabilities, leadership groups, and markets
  • Track achievements, approvals, feedback rounds, rehearsals, logistics, and final deliverables
  • Support in-person and virtual pitch delivery, including presentation flow, materials, room setup, technology needs, and production coordination
  • Proactively flag risks, gaps, or timing issues to keep teams organized, focused, and on schedule

Strengthen the Growth Engine
  • Help build the systems, content, and operating discipline that make the Business Development team faster, sharper, and more effective over time.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline information, including opportunity status, achievements, revenue potential, and next steps
  • Support pipeline reporting, forecasting inputs, leadership requests, and business development performance tracking
  • Organize and maintain business development materials, including pitch decks, credentials, case studies, templates, RFP responses, and reusable content
  • Support updates to RFP libraries, case study repositories, agency credentials, trackers, templates, and team tools
  • Coordinate NDA routing, tracking, and completion across new business opportunities
  • Find opportunities to improve team processes, file management, workflows, and operating systems

Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of experience in media, business development, marketing, project management, or agency operations
  • Experience working within a holding company environment required
  • Highly organized, diligent, and able to manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Strong communicator with experience developing decks, RFP responses, briefings, or executive-ready materials
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with senior partners and cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, committed to finding effective solutions, and able to anticipate needs before they become issues
  • Polished, mature, and professional in how you communicate and operate
  • Competitive, motivated, and energized by helping the team win
  • Believes no ask is too big and no detail too small
  • Fearless and confident leader in group settings
  • A natural-born planner, with excellent attention to detail and a passion for organizing process and people
  • Naturally the planner, connector, and person people trust to keep things moving
