Position Overview
Responsibilities:
  • Advanced Legal & Business Research
    • Conduct legal and business intelligence research across a wide range of industries and practice areas using research tools such as Capital IQ Pro, Lexis-Nexis, Courtlink, Lexis Ai, Lex Machina, Factiva, Bloomberg Law, and GlobalData Explorer.
    • Provide both in-depth research and ready reference across all practice areas.
    • Synthesize research findings into clear, concise deliverables.
  • Training, Outreach & Consultation
    • Coordinate and assist in the delivery of training programs for various research tools.
    • Orient newly hired consultants to research services, resources, and best practices.
    • Provide consultative research support, recommending appropriate tools and research strategies based on the needs of the consultant.
  • Research Tools, Technology & Innovation
    • Stay current on emerging research technologies, analytics tools, and AI-enhanced research solutions.
    • Participate in the evaluation and testing of new research tools and services.
  • Project Management & Administrative Tasks
    • Manage multiple research requests and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet tight deadlines.

  • 4 + years of experience performing legal and business research in a professional services, consulting, or law firm.
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree in library and information science strongly preferred

Salary and other compensation
A good-faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Stating pay within this range may vary based on factors such as education level, experience, skills, geographic location, market conditions, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for additional bonus incentive compensation.
