Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Estimator to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects, from initial bid through project completion. Your expertise will support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, manufacturing estimating, and project management, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Pay:ย From $18.00 per hour (will consider more based on experience)

Job description:

Duties and responsibilities will be, preparing accurate and profitable job

estimates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create project estimates and bid documents. Including but not limited to:
  • Accurately entering customer information and other data into customer database
  • Identifying and requesting additional information from customer via email of phone, if necessary.
  • Performing material take-offs from customer specifications and drawings
  • Retrieving vendor pricing and costs
  • Identifying and estimating labor requirement
  • Developing project bill of materials
  • Creating or fill-in bid documents
  • Saving all files and documentation in an organized manner
  • Assisting with creating and managing of resultant purchase orders
  • Preparing quote for project manager take-over
  • Attending kick-off meetings and/or assist project managers in understanding scope

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Preference given to a candidate with experience with in project management or inventory software.

Shift: 5:30AM-4:30PM Monday through Thursday (if Friday, overtime)
