Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Liberty Village

Pay Scale: The reasonably expected hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00. Pay is commensurate with experience and skill level (Maintenance Technician I, II, III, or IV).

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you are the hero of our property. You are essential to keeping our community running smoothly and ensuring our residents have a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained place to call home. You will handle a wide variety of tasks, from routine upkeep to urgent repairs, making every day different. This position will be required to respond to after-hours on-call maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repairs amp; Maintenance: Perform a wide range of hands-on maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting to resolve resident work orders and keep the property in excellent condition.
  • Unit Turnover ("Make-Ready"): Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing all necessary repairs, painting, and fixture installations to ensure a quality move-in experience.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to residents, communicating professionally and completing service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a residential or similar setting.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
  • The physical ability to lift over 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • For Higher Levels (II, III, IV): Advanced experience (3-6+ years) and/or specialized certifications (HVAC, Electrical, etc.) are highly desirable and will be considered for higher-level positions and pay.
