Job description

Service Technician

Liberty Coach – Stuart, FL

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Liberty Coach, the world's premier manufacturer of Prevost motorcoach conversions, is looking for Service Technicians to join our team in Stuart, Florida.

We are a family-owned company with more than 50 years in the luxury motor coach industry, and we take tremendous pride in the coaches we build and service.

We're looking for technicians who share that mentality.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is hardworking, dependable, team-oriented, and grounded. You don't need to know everything in day one, but you do need to come to work ready to learn, willing to listen, and determined to do the job right.

Our coaches combine automotive, residential, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, audio/video, and advanced electronic systems. The right person enjoys troubleshooting, figuring out how things work, and taking pride in solving problems correctly rather than simply getting the job out the door.

What You'll Do

•  Perform service, repairs, and maintenance on luxury Prevost motorcoaches

•  Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)

•  Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electronic systems

•  Perform low-voltage and high-voltage electrical diagnostics

•  Diagnose automotive and residential-style HVAC systems

•  Install, diagnose, and repair audio/video and entertainment systems

•  Troubleshoot coach systems and determine the root cause of problems

•  Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to keep jobs moving efficiently

•  Communicate clearly when additional repairs, parts, or assistance are needed

•  Participate in customer walk-arounds and coach deliveries when necessary

•  Perform field service and travel when required

•  Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area

•  Treat every coach with the level of care expected of a high-end luxury product

What We're Looking For

More than anything, we're looking for the right work ethic and attitude. You should be someone who:

•  Shows up on time and ready to work

•  Takes pride in your workmanship

•  Pays attention to the small details

•  Is willing to learn and accept direction

•  Works well as part of a team

•  Doesn't need to be constantly supervised to stay productive

•  Takes ownership of a job from diagnosis through completion

•  Understands that shortcuts aren't acceptable

•  Is comfortable troubleshooting instead of simply replacing parts

•  Can communicate professionally with coworkers and customers

•  Treats customers, their coaches, and fellow employees with respect

Experience

Previous experience as a Class A RV, marine, automotive, electrical, HVAC, or similar service technician

is preferred.

Experience with high-end or luxury products is a plus, but we are also interested in mechanically inclined technicians with strong troubleshooting skills who are ready and willing to learn our coaches and our way of doing things.

Requirements

•  Valid driver's license

•  Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability

•  Ability to work with hand and power tools

•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•  Comfortable interacting with customers when necessary

•  Willingness to travel for occasional field service

•  Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule

Monday through Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday 7-11AM

Overtime available

Why Liberty Coach?

This isn't a typical RV service shop.

You'll be working on some of the most sophisticated and luxurious motor coaches in the world alongside people who have spent decades learning the craft.

We're looking for someone who wants to learn, work hard, become exceptionally good at what they do, and build a career with a company that takes pride in its people and its product.
