Job description

Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is recruiting for a Life Cycle Logistics Management Analyst IV . In this role, you will support PM Soldier Survivability (SSV), which is located at Ft. Belvoir, VA and Huntsville, AL. The support required under this effort includes engineering, quality assurance and test support, acquisition support, business management support, logistics and fielding support, operations support, and administrative support. The specific task areas include program management, analysis, planning, studies, liaison, and operations support, strategic communications, engineering and logistics support, new equipment training, system test and product fielding support, acquisition and contracting support, software development and system safety, studies and analysis and quick response support.
PM SSV's mission is to equip, clothe, and protect Soldiers to maximize performance today and provide enhanced capability tomorrow. PM SSV's products protect Soldiers and allow them to operate in any condition. Product Manager Air Warrior (PdM AW), Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM SCIE) and Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PdM SPE) are subordinate Product Offices in PM SSV.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides senior-level logistics expertise.
  • Integrates and plans for the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) in all phases of the sustainment and acquisition processes.
  • Interfaces with ASAALT, AMC, LCMC, PEO Soldier, ATEC, AEC, CASCOM, MCOE, and other PEOs and PM on logistics requirements.
  • Establishes and assists in planning, developing, coordinating, defending, and executing all aspects of the PMs' Life Cycle Logistics support under the DoD acquisition and sustainment processes.
  • Produces acquisition logistics documentation in support of the PMs products.
  • Performs and develops plans and projects, determines needs, investigates and resolves problems, interfaces with other functions and stakeholders, prepares capital assets and operating requests, and manages functional areas.
  • Assists in logistics automation using enterprise planning tools (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, etc.) for acquisition and sustainment operations
  • Directs the activities of a group of applicable stakeholders to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all life-cycle management functions.
  • Provides Air Drop Liaison support IAW with PWS
  • Competency in communication, leadership, and logistics automated systems, team management, and risk management.

Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Secret
Education: BA or BS
Years of Experience: At least 20 years of experience
Technical Skills
  • Thorough understanding of Life Cycle Logistics regulations and policies, including DoD 5000 series, AR 70-1, AR 700-127, and AR 700-142.
  • Acquisition experience in the DoD environment.

Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
