Job description

We are looking for a hardworking, hands on, customer oriented individual to join our team. Someone that will not only master their current responsibilities, but someone that has the desire and commitment to grow within our organization. You will be responsible for building positive relationships with customers and colleagues, as well as completing necessary tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

|On-site installation, maintenance, and repair of document products and systems, including hardware, software, and networking products.

|Use diagnostic tools, service aids and product schematics to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system failures.

|Use escalation processes to inform Field Engineer, Field Service Manager, Specialist, and Headquarters of unresolved issues as well as provide suggestions to improve equipment performance.

|Update work orders in real time

l Manage parts inventory and territory to comply with established operating standards

l Perform machine factory modifications and software /operating systems upgrades of equipment to insure optimum performance

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience related to technical/repairs of office equipment
  • Strong technical ability on copiers, printers, and facsimile
  • Knowledge of computers and networking preferred.
  • Highly motivated team player and committed to learn new technology.
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills, thorough, dependable
  • Toshiba color, HP, Lexmark experience a plus.
