Job Summary:
LexisNexis Risk Solutions is a provider of advanced technology and analytics to assist customers in evaluating and predicting risk. They are seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Technical Lead to mentor developers, design scalable ServiceNow solutions, and drive platform innovation. This role involves technical leadership, development oversight, and collaboration across teams to deliver efficient ServiceNow solutions.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Act as the technical lead and primary escalation point for ServiceNow developers.
โ€ข Provide hands-on guidance in development, including:
โ€ข Business Rules
โ€ข Script Includes
โ€ข Client Scripts
โ€ข Flow Designer
โ€ข UI Actions
โ€ข Service Portal components
โ€ข Scoped Applications
โ€ข APIs
โ€ข Lead code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure best practices are followed.
โ€ข Mentor and coach developers, supporting their technical growth and capability development.
โ€ข Manage technical delivery across sprints, ensuring alignment with priorities and capacity.
โ€ข Design and develop solutions within ServiceNow across ITAM, ITSM, SPM, FedRAMP, NowAssist/AI.
โ€ข Develop scoped and global applications aligned to enterprise standards.
โ€ข Lead development of ITAM solutions across HAM Pro and SAM Pro, including lifecycle and compliance workflows.
โ€ข Troubleshoot complex platform issues and support high-quality solution delivery.
โ€ข Work closely with ServiceNow Architecture to design scalable and compliant solutions.
โ€ข Contribute to and align with Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
โ€ข Translate architectural designs into actionable development patterns and standards.
โ€ข Ensure solutions align with platform roadmap, data models, and governance frameworks.
โ€ข Provide technical support and leadership for implementations.
โ€ข Design and support ITSM and ITAM workflows:
โ€ข Asset lifecycle workflows (procure โ†’ deploy โ†’ retire)
โ€ข Normalization and reconciliation rules
โ€ข Asset-to-CI relationships
โ€ข Develop to support compliance, optimization, and governance initiatives.
โ€ข Manage and support Threat Modelling and Technical Reviews.
โ€ข Design and oversee integrations using REST APIs and IntegrationHub.
โ€ข Ensure integrations with discovery tools, endpoint management platforms, procurement systems, and financial systems are scalable and maintainable.
โ€ข Provide technical oversight for integration design and troubleshooting.
โ€ข Drive adoption of Automated Test Framework (ATF) and automated testing practices.
โ€ข Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
โ€ข Ensure code quality, version control, and deployment governance across environments.
โ€ข Maintain technical documentation, standards, and reusable development patterns.
โ€ข Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
โ€ข Partner with teams across the organization (ITAM, ITSM, Security, CCoE, Finance, Infrastructure, and Service Operations teams).
โ€ข Act as the bridge between Development, Architecture, and Platform Leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Proven experience with the ServiceNow platform, including a strong understanding of its functionalities and best practices.
โ€ข Demonstrated hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, such as building, customizing, and deploying solutions.
โ€ข Proven experience leading or mentoring ServiceNow developers.
โ€ข Demonstrated expertise in: JavaScript and Glide API, Business Rules and Script Includes, Flow Designer automation, ServiceNow integrations (REST, IntegrationHub).
โ€ข Proven development experience in ITAM and ITSM modules.
โ€ข Experience designing and maintaining CMDB data models and reconciliation rules.
โ€ข Strong understanding of CSDM.
โ€ข Experience building custom applications (scoped/global).
โ€ข Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
Preferred:
โ€ข ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
โ€ข ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD)
โ€ข CIS-ITAM or CIS-SAM certification
โ€ข Experience with Discovery and Service Mapping
โ€ข Experience leading ServiceNow development teams or technical delivery
โ€ข Experience contributing to architecture design and governance frameworks
โ€ข Experience delivering ITAM transformations or large-scale platform initiatives
