Job description

Job Summary:
Levy Restaurants is a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry, known for creating unforgettable experiences across various venues. The IT Supervisor role focuses on supporting the Point-of-Sale system and other technology systems, ensuring they operate efficiently during events and providing technical support as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure point of sale and other supporting systems are ready for each event
• Prioritize and respond to event day support calls
• Troubleshoot device connectivity and other issues
• Install, move or replace hardware as needed
• Assist in the implementation of system installations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Communicate issues and resolution progress to relevant location parties as needed
• Prioritize issues and escalate as necessary
• Document all technical issues with troubleshooting steps and status or resolution
• Provide an event recap after each event including issues and status
• Maintain inventory counts and status of all POS related technology systems
• Troubleshoots problems involving office equipment.
• Provide hardware support and troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, printers, and servers.
• Support and troubleshoot point of sale hardware including terminals, credit card devices, and tablets
• Assist with system installations, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Open and track support tickets with POS vendors as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience configuring, maintaining and supporting technology systems.
• Working knowledge of networking including firewalls, switching, and wireless technology.
• Effective problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• High-energy, self-motivated, action oriented, positive and humble attitude, flexible, hard-working, high level of integrity.
Preferred:
• Hospitality industry experience, and experience with Point-of-Sale systems is a plus.
