Job description

Luther Burnsville Volkswagen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Level Auto Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art dealership.

$35-$70/hour (Incentive-Based)

As a Master Level Auto Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair work on vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the dealership's high standards of quality. This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and commission structure, as well as opportunities for career advancement.


Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles
- Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle problems
- Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations, in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep track of work orders and maintain accurate records of all repaired vehicles
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide cost estimates
- Continuously update and improve technical skills through training and on-the-job learning
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the workshop
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training or certification as a Master Level Auto Technician is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an auto technician, with a strong understanding of foreign and domestic vehicle systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
