Job Description
EBAD is seeking a Level II NDT X-Ray Radiography Technician to join our team in Graham, KY. This individual will report directly to the site Quality Manager. This role will assist the NDT staff and Level III in day-to-day operations that are focused on production parts, developmental parts, and NDT projects.
Responsibilities:
The X-Ray Technician will create and review radiographic images of products to verify acceptance.
  • Create and Review CR and Film Images of Aerospace & Defense Components to ASTM and Process standards.
  • Assist and maintain calibration requirements for CR system and ASTM requirements.
  • Measurement of dimensional requirements to prove compliance to drawings.
  • Complete accurate documentation to accompany products.
  • Support team members in preparation for audits and safety reviews.
  • Manage film database for storing completed images.
  • Create Technique sheets to provide technical direction for radiographic imaging.
  • Assist team members with reviews and requests to retrieve images.
  • Manage supplies for department.
  • Other tasks that arise as directed by supervisor.

Requirements :
  • Certified Level II RT (Film or non-film) with NAS 410 or ASTM experience.
  • 5 Years experience in Aerospace NDT and Quality role preferred.
  • Familiar with AS 9100 / ISO 9100 environment.
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Must be able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Must be familiar with NAS 410 / ASTM specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret radiographic images with high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to use and understand calibrated measurement tools.
  • Produce radiographic Film/CR images while following technique sheets.
  • Potential to obtain Level III RT and meet all required testing in the future.
  • Attention to detail while working in a production team environment is required.
  • Required to support both internal and external customer requests.
  • Accurate records of reviews and creation of discrepancy reports required.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to accommodate flexible work schedule.
