What does a Senior Manager, Category Insights do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Swire is seeking a dynamic leader to head our Category Market Insights team, providing critical analysis and strategic opportunity to shape our portfolio and channel strategy. Leading a team of insights analysts this team is the driving force behind our market share analysis, competitive landscape monitoring, uncovering actionable insights, and craft compelling narratives that influence our strategies. This role will manage the development and implementation of ongoing and ad hoc analytics for the total business in support of growing Swire's market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize disparate data sources into compelling storylines that are the foundation of our portfolio and channel strategy and present findings to executive leadership
  • Lead team development to understand, visualize, and identify actionable insights for our business via end-to-end market & consumer analysis
  • Develop category-level knowledge through existing resources (Nielsen, Numerator, and customer scan data) for leverage in creating competitive advantage for our brands
  • Design, execute, and analyze insights through custom qualitative or quantitative research (either internally or via third-party vendors)
  • Translate business questions into best-in-class research plans
  • Effectively democratize data and insights by creating a rich repository of research, white papers, portfolio of effective dashboard reporting
  • Lead competitive product monitoring, including emerging trends, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field required
  • 6+ years Experience in producing business intelligence and reporting, sales analysis, strategy development, and project management required
  • 4+ years Experience creating intuitive insights through data visualization (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization toolsets) required
  • 4+ years Experience using SQL, Python, or similar tools to manipulate large complex data sets to support reporting, insights, and ad-hoc analytics required
  • 4+ years Experience creating compelling storylines from disparate data sources and presenting finding to leadership required
  • 4+ years Experience using syndicated CPG data (Nielsen/IRI/Numerator) or customer scan/loyalty for strategy development required
  • 2+ years Experience designing and executing primary research (both qualitative and quantitative) to understand consumer behavior required
  • 2+ years Experience leading a high performing team and advancing team capability required
  • 1+ years Experience analyzing social media data into actionable insights required
  • 1+ years Experience developing advanced analytic models (ML/AI) to answer business questions required
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization toolsets
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or similar tools to manipulate large and complex data sets in order to support reporting, insights, and ad-hoc analytics
  • Experience creating compelling storylines from disparate data sources and presenting finding to leadership
