Category: Brewery Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Director of Brewery and Distillery Operations Job Description The Brewer Assistant supports daily brewing operations by assisting with the production, cleaning, packaging, and maintenance tasks necessary to produce high-quality craft beer. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone eager to learn the brewing process, contribute to a team-driven environment, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality. George, UT, 84790: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Responsibilities Assist the brewers in all phases of beer production, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, transferring, and cellaring. Clean and sanitize brewing equipment, tanks, hoses, kegs, and general work areas.

Monitor fermentation progress and record daily production and inventory data. Help with packaging processes, including keg washing/filling, canning, and labeling. Load and unload materials such as grain, hops, and chemicals.

Maintain a clean and organized brewing space and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Assist in quality control procedures and report any issues to the lead brewer. Occasionally support taproom staff during events or special releases, as needed.

Skills / Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to submit to and pass a background check.

Must be 21 years old or over. Prior experience in a brewery or beverage production environment preferred. Comfortable working with chemicals and understanding basic safety procedures.

Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to kneel, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
