Job description

Sr. Network Engineer needs 8–10+ years of network engineering experience

Sr. Network Engineer requires:

8–10+ years of network engineering experience

Expertise in Cisco WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies (routers, switches, Nexus Data Center)

Firewall administration and security management experience

F5 Load Balancer configuration (LTM, F5 pool)

Experience with site-to-site VPNs and client VPN solutions

No C2C

Skills: Cisco WAN, Cisco LAN, Cisco WLAN, firewall administration, security management, load balancing, data center networking, Nexus Data Center, LAN switching, routers, firewalls, wireless, SD-WAN, F5 LTM, F5 pool, Wireshark, VPN (site-to-site), client VPN, network monitoring systems, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, QoS, VoIP, network diagrams, SOPs, change management, multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices, network management systems, packet analysis

Sr. Network Engineer duties:

Support site to site VPNs and client VPN solutions.

Work with emerging technologies such as SD-WAN or Data Center products.

Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of case notes, Knowledge base and network diagrams.

Assist with Voice over IP implementation and support.

Follow proper change management processes and escalation procedures.

Ensure customers receive prompt, accurate and courteous service.

Engage vendors and carriers as required to assist in troubleshooting or implementation of network solutions.

Assist in the development of documentation and SOPs for the department.

Assist other team members with special projects and technology rollouts.

Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations if required and flexible for over the night andor weekend activities.
