The Tier 2 Systems Administrator will deliver, support, and improve IT services across a multi-site chemical and industrial manufacturing environment, ensuring system stability and a strong user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced end‑user support across all locations
• Take full ownership of issues through resolution, including escalations from Tier 1
• Troubleshoot across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and devices
• Support laptops, desktops, iPads, industrial PCs, and production‑floor devices
• Maintain high user satisfaction through clear communication and follow‑through
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative improvements
• Administer, maintain, and enhance: Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including: Exchange Online Microsoft Teams SharePoint and OneDrive
• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD (identity, access, device compliance, MFA, licensing)
• Network infrastructure (HPE / Aruba switches, wireless, VLANs, VPNs)
• NetSuite (ERP)

Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of Tier 2 IT support experience
• 5+ years of hands‑on Tier 1 IT systems administration experience
• Strong technical capability across infrastructure, identity, networking, and end‑user computing
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and cloud‑based environments
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and modern endpoint management
• Understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs
• Ability to troubleshoot issues impacting production uptime
• Experience working with vendors and service providers
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize based on business impact
• Demonstrated willingness to remain hands‑on in a senior technical role
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience
• Certifications in A+, Network +, Security+, Microsoft/Cisco preferred
