Our platform aggregates and processes large volumes of data from a wide range of sources to power actionable insights for customers around the world.

What You'll Do:
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, quality engineering, and other developers to deliver high-quality products and features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering best practices and development standards.
  • Support the development of reusable components and services that improve efficiency and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including testing, documentation, and continuous integration processes.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development and web application engineering.
  • Proficiency in Java and familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience working with frameworks and technologies such as Spring or Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, or distributed systems concepts.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Openness to a hybrid work schedule, requiring one day per week in the office.
  • The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.

Compensation Overview
At Meltwater, we believe great impact deserves great reward. Our compensation approach is data-driven, market-informed, and built to scale with your growth. We benchmark roles against external market data and use structured leveling frameworks to ensure fairness, consistency, and internal equity across teams and geographies.
These frameworks are based on objective, gender-neutral criteria in line with applicable pay transparency regulations.
For this role, the annual base salary range is $105,000 - $130,000 USD.
Actual offers are determined based on job-related skills, experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location. We typically hire within the range in a way that supports long-term growth, recognizing that compensation evolves as scope, performance, and impact expand over time.
