Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Civil/ Structural Engineering Resource Manager to lead our Nassau Bay team.

Essential Functions:
  • Supervise and mentor discipline staff.
  • Overall technical responsibility for all discipline activities.
  • Coordinates resource/staffing requirements with project teams, including participation in weekly internal staff meetings and weekly inter-office conference calls.
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring discipline personnel.
  • Responsible for interfacing with HR and addressing personnel issues, including disciplinary action and termination where required.
  • Conducts performance evaluations on staff personnel.
  • Manages the overall execution of projects.
  • Acts as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative. The PM is the face of Keystone to the client.
  • Creates, executes, and revises project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics.
  • Evaluates technical requirements on projects and supports proposal activities with internal engineering cost and AFE estimates.
  • Coordinates discipline-specific technical training and development, including mentoring and technical support.
  • Approves 3rd party applications used by discipline engineers.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Remains completely accessible to the client during the life of the project and provides a single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are processed timely and appropriately.
  • Develops lasting relationships with customer personnel that foster customer ties.
  • Ensures that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved, and signed off prior to issue to the client.
  • Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48-hour turnaround.
  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members and peers.
  • Motivates the team to work together in the most efficient manner.
  • Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
  • Understands the basic business drivers of our customers and their markets.
  • Identifies and champions opportunities to standardize work processes across Business Units.

Requirements:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET institution.
  • 10+ years of working experience.
  • PE License in Texas.
  • Strong technical background in civil engineering with a focus specifically in the oil & gas industry.
  • Previous personnel management experience.
  • Previous project schedule and budget management experience.
  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution-oriented advocate.
  • Attention to detail.

Experience Preferred:
  • Previous personnel management experience.
  • Proficient in STAAD, RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, and/or RISA Connection.
