Our Construction Group is seeking a Scheduling Department Manager to join our team. Working closely with the VP of Operations, this role will support project teams in developing and managing project schedules, promote consistency in scheduling practices, maintain historical schedule data, and lead Hanover's Global Support Services scheduling team, located in Ahmedabad, India.

What you will do:
  • Lead and manage the India-based Global Support Services scheduling team, including priorities, workload allocation, deliverables, quality, productivity, mentoring, and coordination with U.S. project teams.
  • Support Project Managers and project teams in developing initial baseline schedules using approved templates, milestones, WBS standards, calendars, logic, durations, and other schedule attributes.
  • Maintain and promote consistent scheduling standards, templates, milestone structures, WBS structures, and Scheduling Standard Operating Procedures across projects.
  • Provide technical Primavera P6 support for schedule development, periodic updates, forecasting, schedule health checks, audits, variance analysis, and data integrity.
  • Assist project teams with resequencing, recovery schedules, major schedule adjustments, critical path impacts, and evaluation of recovery strategies.
  • Analyze completed schedules and historical project performance to identify trends, benchmarks, production rates, lessons learned, and opportunities to improve future planning.
  • Oversee remote scheduling support activities, including schedule narratives, report publishing, historical data collection, schedule audits, and review of work products for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain scheduling process documentation and drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, improved technology utilization, key performance indicators, and lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Primavera P6
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support all levels of Construction
  • Initiative to complete work according to deadlines and a proactive attitude of support for U.S. project teams and the GSS Scheduling Team
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized work habits
  • Position is full-time and based in our Corporate Office in Houston, Texas - no remote work or hybrid schedule
  • Regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
