Position Summary...The Director, Sales Training and Enablement is responsible for developing and delivering the tools, training, content, and resources that empower sales teams to perform at their best. This role bridges strategy and execution by ensuring sellers have what they need-when they need it-to drive results and build stronger customer relationships. The Director leads the design and delivery of training programs, onboarding experiences, sales content, and enablement initiatives that align with business priorities and support sales excellence across the organization.What you'll do...
Sales Enablement Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that aligns with business goals and sales priorities
  • Partner with sales leadership toidentifycapability gaps and develop targeted enablement solutions
  • Lead the design and delivery of training programs that drive knowledge retention, skill development, and behavior change
  • Establish metrics and frameworks to measure the impact of enablement programs on sales performance
Training Program Development & Delivery
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of onboarding programs for new hires and role transitions
  • Create and manage ongoing learning programs that build product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement capabilities
  • Develop certification programs, learning paths, and competency frameworks for sales roles
  • Leverage adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging, effective training experiences
Content & Resource Development
  • Lead the creation and curation of sales content, including pitch decks, playbooks, case studies, and customer-facing materials
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and other teams to ensure sellers have access toaccurate, compelling content
  • Build andmaintaina centralized content repository and enablement platform for easy access to resources
  • Develop templates, tools, and job aids that support sellers in key moments of the sales cycle
Sales Onboarding & Ramp
  • Design and manage comprehensive onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity for new sellers
  • Develop role-specific learning paths and milestones for different sales positions (e.g., Account Executives, Growth Partners)
  • Monitor onboarding effectiveness through metrics such as ramp time, certification completion, and early performance indicators
  • Continuously refine onboarding based on feedback, business changes, and performance data
Technology & Platform Management
  • Drive adoption of enablement technologies and ensure sellers are trained on how to access and use resources
  • Evaluate emerging enablement technologies and recommend investments that improve productivity and effectiveness
Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment
  • Build strong partnerships with sales leaders, product teams, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Align enablement programs with go-to-market strategies, product launches, and key business initiatives
  • Communicate program plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
  • Gather feedback from sellers and leaders to continuously improve enablement offerings
People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales enablement and training team
  • Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and create development opportunities for team members
  • Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the team and across the organization
What you'll bring...
  • 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, learning & development, or related field; 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN), and the buyer journey
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs for sales organizations, including onboarding and ongoing development
  • Proficiencywith learning management systems (LMS), content management platforms, and enablement tools (e.g.,Highspot, Seismic,Lessonly)
  • Excellent instructional design skills and knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Strong content creation and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling materials
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
  • Experience measuring the impact of enablement programs through metrics and data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications preferred
