Welcome to LEGOLAND® New York Resort—where creativity meets massive engineering, and "work" means keeping the joy moving. From high-tech theme park rides and immersive hotels to the intricate marvels of MINILAND, the opportunities here are endless.

As a Rides Maintenance Technician, you are the backbone of our park’s magic. You aren’t just fixing machines; you are guaranteeing smiles, adrenaline rushes, and unforgettable family memories. If you are a skilled troubleshooter who lives for a "safety-first" culture and loves diving into complex electromechanical systems, your next great adventure starts here.

What You’ll Do (The Role)

As an integral member of our Technical Services team, you will ensure our world-class rides and attractions are inspected, maintained, and repaired to the highest industry standards.

  • Own the Precision: Install, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot advanced electromechanical systems on amusement park rides, automated animation, and specialized attractions using manufacturer manuals.

  • Master the Tools: Apply your craftsmanship operating machine tools including drill presses, power saws, grinders, hydraulic presses, metal shears, torque wrenches, micrometers, and dial indicators.

  • Guard the Standard: Keep safety as your absolute #1 priority. You’ll ensure total compliance with internal safety procedures and established ASTM, NEC, OSHA, state, and local electrical codes.

  • Track the Magic: Maintain flawless maintenance records, reports, work orders, and inventory tracking within our modern Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.

  • Adapt & Thrive: Tackle specialized projects and new challenges as assigned to keep the resort running perfectly.

Who You Are (About You)

You’re a problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments and takes pride in a job done right.

The Essentials:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • A valid Driver’s License.

  • The Drive to Grow: Ability to study and learn complex amusement attraction maintenance using a structured training program.

  • Proven hands-on experience installing, servicing, and maintaining electromechanical equipment.

  • Deep familiarity with the best-practice tools and diagnostic methods used to troubleshoot industrial machinery.

  • Strong practical math skills.

  • Comfort with using iPad tablet to complete work orders with our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. (EAM training provided)

  • Physical Capability: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, stand and walk across varied park terrains, and comfortably lift, carry, or pull at least 50 pounds.

Bonus Points If You Have:
