Electrician

About the Role
Safety is paramount in everything we do. This role is part of the facilities team, which is an integral part of our Technical Services department. As a member of the facilities team, you will play a major role in the success of our resort and have one of the most important responsibilities throughout the park. You must always provide and guarantee a fun and safe environment for our guest with a focus on safety, ensuring that our rides are inspected, maintained and repaired to the highest levels possible.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Keep Safety as #1 priority.
  • Inspect, repair, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, lighting systems and power distribution systems.
  • Diagnoses and replaces damaged or broken wire, cables, malfunctioning and faulty electrical apparatus such as: transformers, motors, panels, relays, switches, outlets, position sensing devices.
  • Installs power supply wiring and conduit for new/relocated rides, animated attractions, building equipment and systems.
  • Tests and replaces faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards in rides, attractions and equipment.
  • Responds to emergency calls to repair theme park attractions and rides to maintain the safety and comfort of guests and MCs.
  • Operates equipment such as torches, grinders, drill presses, conduit benders, voltmeters, phase sequence indicators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc..
  • Respond to any other various duties as directed by your manager.

About You
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience as a journeyman electrician.
  • Knowledge of circuits, voltages and amperes used for assigned work is required.
  • Requires a demonstrated flexibility to handle a wide range of highly complex and challenging duties throughout the theme park, with extreme care, focused attention and skillful precision.
  • Requires the ability to use a full range of measuring devices and power tools.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
  • Follow National Electrical Code state and stays abreast of governmental, state and local regulations, including OSHA
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a positive attitude and a love for FUN!
