Job Description Our Calgary client, a law firm specializing in Family Law Legal is seeking a Family Law Legal Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will bring sound judgment, excellent attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused team environment. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of busy family law legal practice including client relationship management, file organization and management, scheduling of conferences, mediations and arbitration, appointments and meetings, diarization of files and various administrative tasks as required Be timely and professional in communication at all times with current and potential clients, other lawyers and the public Preparation of all family law documents (settlement agreements, offers of settlement, drafting trial briefs, trial records, chamber applications, discovery documents) Financial Disclosure Probate Applications, Administration of Estates etc.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience as a Family Law Legal Assistant Experience in Estate Law or Mediation would be an asset Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail Excellent work ethic, initiative, self-motivated with a can-do and positive mindset Must be able to work independently Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, deadlines, and prioritize the same accordingly Professionalism with a calm diplomatic approach Strong communication skills (both with clients and internally) Hardworking, committed and loyal Reliable, and a team-player Strong computer knowledge, especially MS WORD, Outlook, and Excel, minimum typing speed of 60 WPM Experience with DivorceMate (family law software) would be an asset Experience with legal accounting software Strong Microsoft Office skills If you are interested in this confidential opportunity, please submit your resume to Amy at aanderson@klopprichards.com quoting JOB-5647.
