Legal Assistant - Las Vegas, NV

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide administrative and litigation support to a busy legal team handling civil and commercial matters, including real estate and property-related disputes.

The successful candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative legal environment and takes pride in keeping attorneys organized, deadlines on track, and legal matters moving efficiently. This individual will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the legal department while serving as a trusted resource for attorneys, internal leadership, outside counsel, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation
  • Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, reports, and court filings for attorney review
  • Maintain attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, and case management systems
  • Open, organize, maintain, and archive electronic and physical legal files
  • Coordinate meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and attorney schedules
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and service of legal documents
  • Communicate professionally with courts, clients, outside counsel, vendors, and other legal professionals
  • Review legal documents for formatting, accuracy, and completeness before filing
  • Process invoices, legal expenses, vendor documentation, and departmental records
  • Maintain confidentiality while supporting multiple attorneys and active legal matters

Qualifications
