This position is on-site in our Las Vegas office 5-days per week. 

The Position

We are seeking a Legal Support Assistant to join our team and serve as a key support resource within a fast-paced law firm environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience and grow within the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll support attorneys and Legal Administrative Assistants. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support as directed
  • Opening new matters/files
  • Assist with e-docketing/calendaring
  • Assist with submitting client invoices
  • Assist in the review and verification of accuracy of billing and supporting documentation
  • Assist with submission of vendor bills and check requests
  • Research and respond to client billing inquiries
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ year of law office experience
  • High level of motivation with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask, successfully manage and prioritize a variety of demands daily, and take direction from support staff and attorneys
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize a heavy workload
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with databases and data entry a plus
