Role: Legal Support Staff

Location: Manhattan, New York

Position Type: Full-Time

Key Role Information

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Support Staff professional to provide high-level administrative and operational support to attorneys and legal teams within a fast-paced law firm environment.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring attorneys remain organized, deadlines are met, court filings are completed accurately, and clients receive exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Attorney & Legal Team Support

  • Provide proactive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
  • Assist with workflow management and practice support
  • Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents
  • Support scheduling and document management

Document Management & Court Filings

  • Prepare and organize legal documents for filing
  • Electronically file documents with courts and agencies
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files

Client & Meeting Coordination

  • Schedule meetings and conference calls
  • Coordinate meeting logistics
  • Manage client communications and correspondence

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of legal administrative support experience
  • Law firm experience preferred
  • Experience supporting attorneys and legal teams
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
