Responsibilities

  • Engagingcorporate legal departments to understand their workflows, operational priorities, and strategicobjectives, and creating tailored LexisNexis AI solutions that enhance processes, improveoutcomes, andincrease productivity and ROI.

  • Leadingtailored demonstrations, training sessions, executive briefings, and workshops to drive adoption andutilizationof LexisNexis AI solutions and ecosystem offerings.

  • Advisinglegal leaders on AI adoption, governance considerations, legal operations modernization, and workflow transformation opportunities.

  • Identifyingopportunities to expand LexisNexis' AI footprint within existing clients and prospective customers in partnership with Client Managers and Strategic Business Development teams.

  • Collectingclient feedback on LexisNexis solutions, including enhancement opportunities, AI use cases, and emerging market needs, and relaying those insights as actionable recommendations to product and development teams.

Requirements

  • Have a JD and 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: 1) In-house counsel experience within a Fortune 1000 or similarly complex enterprise organization; 2) Legal transformation, legal operations, legal technology, or enterprise consulting experience supporting Fortune 500/1000 legal departments; or 3) Attorney experience within a leading Alternative Legal Services Provider (ALSP), with substantial experience practicing law for and advising Fortune 1000 or similarly complex corporate legal departments and their legal leadership teams.

  • Have a strong understanding of corporate legal department operations, priorities, stakeholder engagement, and business partner relationships.

  • Have strong AI fluency, including hands-on experience using generative AI tools and a practical understanding of legal AI use cases within corporate legal departments.

  • Havethe requisite knowledge to leaddiscussions onAI opportunities, limitations, governance considerations, and adoption challenges with legal professionals and business stakeholders.

  • Have experience engaging with General Counsel, Chief Legal Officers, Legal Operations leaders, and other senior legal and business stakeholders.

  • Have excellent presentation, communication, facilitation, and consultative problem-solving skills.

  • Be willing and able to travel at least50%of the time to support business and client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior in-house counsel experience within a Fortune 1000 or similarly complex enterprise organization.

  • Experience leading legal transformation, legal operations modernization, AI adoption, process optimization, or legal technology implementation initiatives.

  • Experience with legal operations, workflow automation, contract lifecycle management (CLM), legal knowledge management, or enterprise legal technology platforms.

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale change management and technology adoption programs.

If performed in Illinois, the base pay range is $110,100 - $183,500.If performed in Chicago, IL, the base pay range is $115,400 - $192,200.If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $125,900 - $209,700.If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $104,900 - $174,700.If performed in Ohio, the base pay range is $99,700 - $166,000.U.S. National Base Pay Range: $104,900 - $174,700.
