About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Legal Operations Processor to support the Writs and Levies functions in Legal Services within the Chief Operating Office (COO). For additional information on lines of business, refer to the external careers site atwww.wellsfargojobs.com


In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal and external business partners

  • Negotiate with external business partners to assure resolutions and deadlines are met

  • Perform moderately complex administrative, operational and customer support tasks

  • Provide training to less experienced Operational Legal Specialists

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirement

  • Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions

  • Seek ways to improve customer service experience and determine proper course of action based on business partners needs

  • Support various operational tasks relating to subpoenas, levies and other legal documents representing Wells Fargo

Location: 800 S. Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, IA

Shift: 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. CT; Monday-Friday

  • Overtime may be required based on business need and department volume

  • Shift is subject to change based upon business need

  • Hybrid role, rotating weeks in office after training is complete.

Training Details: 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. CT; Monday-Friday for approx. 4-6 weeks


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Legal Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across business and functional teams, resolve issues, overcome obstacles, and build strong working relationships to achieve organizational objectives

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to provide high quality customer service by actively listening, efficiently eliciting information, comprehending complex needs, and resolving internal and external customer issues while balancing enterprise priorities

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines while consistently delivering high production quality results

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proven experience translating complex information into clear, concise, and audience appropriate messaging, including project documentation, status reporting, meeting facilitation, and leadership communications delivered with professionalism, integrity, and attention to quality with all levels of employees including management

  • Experience consolidating large amounts of project status information to identify key risks, customer impact, financial implications, delays, and issues that may pose material risk

  • Experience analyzing legal statutes, working with legal rules and procedures, and processing legal filings within multiple jurisdictions

  • Financial services experience

  • Experience with Wells Fargo Writs and Levies processes and procedures

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)

  • Proficient technology skills, including operational systems and tools, such as: Hogan and 1LLG


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed

  • Ability to work additional hours including weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled

  • Adhere to standards outlined with written policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations
