Job Summary

Are you ready to lead the transformation of Legal, Compliance, and EHS through modern, scalable, and riskdriven technology? Do you thrive at the intersection of business, risk, data, and enterprise platforms? Join Acuity Brands as the Sr. Manager - Legal & Compliance Technology, where you will define and execute the strategy that modernizes how the enterprise manages legal operations, regulatory compliance, thirdparty risk, and EHS.

In this role, you will own the Legal, Compliance, and EHS technology portfolio, driving platform strategy, integrations, data enablement, and service delivery transformation. You will partner closely with Legal, Compliance, EHS, Tech, and Data teams to deliver scalable solutions that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and enable proactive, datadriven decisionmaking across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Legal, Compliance & EHS Technology Leadership

  • Define and drive the endtoend technology strategy for Legal, Compliance, and EHS, including platforms supporting CLM, Legal Service Delivery, ThirdParty Risk Management, Materials Compliance, and EHS management.
  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for Legal, Compliance, and EHS technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk, regulatory, and growth objectives.
  • Serve as the primary technology partner to Legal, Compliance, and EHS leadership, translating business needs into scalable, fitforpurpose solutions.

Platform Strategy, Integration & Data Enablement

  • Lead platform selection, implementation, and evolution for Legal, Compliance, and EHS systems, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant architectures.
  • Partner with Tech and Data teams to drive system integrations across ERP, PLM, HR, procurement, and data platforms, enabling unified workflows and data consistency.
  • Establish data governance and analytics strategies that enable dashboards, predictive insights, and realtime visibility into risk, compliance, and EHS performance.

Legal Operations & Service Delivery Transformation

  • Drive the modernization of legal operations through Legal Service Delivery platforms, intake automation, workflow orchestration, and knowledge management.
  • Improve transparency, cycle times, and scalability of legal services while enabling legal teams to focus on highervalue advisory work.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs to measure value realization across Legal, Compliance, and EHS initiatives.

AIEnabled Solution Design & Delivery

  • Identify and prioritize highvalue AI use cases across Legal, Compliance, and EHS with clear value, risk, and adoption criteria.
  • Partner with Tech, Data, Security, Privacy, and Legal stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are designed with appropriate governance (data classification, access controls, retention, auditability, and humanintheloop review) and align to enterprise AI standards.
  • Embed AI capabilities into endtoend workflows and platforms (CLM, Legal Service Delivery, TPRM, Materials Compliance, EHS) through product design, integration patterns, and change management.

CrossFunctional Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong partnerships across Legal, Compliance, EHS, Tech, Data, Finance, and external vendors to deliver integrated, enterprisewide solutions.
  • Facilitate prioritization, planning, and governance forums to align stakeholders, manage dependencies, and drive accountability.
  • Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, influencing decisions across a highly matrixed organization.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Lead change management, communication, and adoption strategies for new platforms and processes.
  • Ensure training, documentation, and operational readiness to support successful rollouts and sustained value.
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and standardization across the Legal, Compliance, and EHS technology landscape.
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, technology leadership, or digital transformation roles within Legal, Compliance, Risk, or EHS domains.
  • Experience leading enterprise platforms and integrations supporting regulated or risksensitive business processes.
  • Proven ability to define roadmaps, manage competing priorities, and deliver complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executivelevel presentation skills
Travel Requirements
  • Up to 20% travel
  • Hybrid role, combining remote work with on-site travel for moments that matter
