Legal Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and other client-facing materials.
- Enter attorney time and assist with reviewing and editing pre-bills.
- Prepare expense reports, check requests, new matter documentation, and other administrative materials.
- Coordinate mailings, assemble binders, and manage document production projects.
- Maintain electronic files, databases, and contact information.
- Schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and manage calendars as needed.
- Conduct research and assist attorneys with administrative and client-service-related projects.
- Provide backup support to other Legal Support Specialists and assist with special projects.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal, administrative, executive support, or professional services environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Professional demeanor and confidence interacting with attorneys, clients, and staff at all levels.
- Strong judgment and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
