Our long tenured client, a leader in the NJ legal space, is searching for an experienced Legal Assistant to work in their litigation practice

In this role YOU will:

  • Support multiple attorneys with admin and litigation tasks including document prep, file organization, data management, and calendaring

  • Prepare/finalize legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas).

  • Calendaring (court appearances, depositions, mediations, hearings).

  • File legal documents electronically.

  • Assist with discovery management, document productions, and trial preparation.

  • Enter attorney time and billing.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics.

YOU might be the right candidate if YOU have:

  • 4+ years of experience as a legal assistant supporting litigation practice.

  • Commercial litigation experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Document management systems experience (NetDocuments, SurePoint).

  • Familiarity with state and federal court filing procedures.
