Job description

Rhode Island insurance defense litigation firm seeks a highly motivated legal assistant/paralegal to support attorneys in all aspects of civil litigation.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: drafting pleadings; assisting with discovery; drafting reports and correspondence; completing dictation; management of attorney calendars; filing; e-filing; and directing and answering phone calls.

Ideal candidate has experience working in a legal or professional office environment, familiarity with RI and Mass electronic filing systems, case management programs, as well as exceptional communication skills.

Prior experience in the legal field is preferred.
