Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Seattle, Washington
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote after training)
Salary: $75,000-$100,000 DOE

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Seattle law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys within its Municipal and Litigation practice groups. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, managing complex litigation matters, and providing high-level legal and administrative support. While experience in municipal law is a plus, candidates with a strong litigation background are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys handling municipal and civil litigation matters
  • Draft, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Prepare and electronically file documents in Washington state and federal courts
  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, meetings, and trial schedules
  • Coordinate service of process, document production, and maintain organized case files
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, trial binders, and supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of litigation legal assistant experience
  • Strong knowledge of Washington state and federal court filing procedures
  • Experience managing litigation calendars, deadlines, and case files
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management software
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines while working independently and collaboratively
  • Municipal law experience is preferred but not required
