Job description

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Legacy Financial Systems (CAS Suite) Data Conversion & Migration to support our proposal effort for the USCG FSC BOD in Chesapeake, VA.

Position Overview:

The CAS Suite SME serves as the authoritative expert for legacy Coast Guard financial systems, with primary focus on the Core Accounting System (CAS) Suite, historical financial data structures, data conversion methodologies, migration planning, reconciliation processes, and financial data integrity. This position provides critical expertise supporting legacy system sustainment, historical data management, reporting, audit readiness, records retention, and future modernization initiatives. The SME works closely with Oracle EBS functional teams, master data personnel, financial analysts, reporting specialists, and FSC leadership to ensure legacy financial data remains accurate, accessible, auditable, and properly aligned with FSMS operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary SME for Coast Guard legacy financial systems and CAS Suite data structures.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of historical financial data, accounting processes, business rules, and legacy reporting requirements.
  • Provide consultation regarding legacy-to-modernized system relationships and data dependencies.
  • Support FSC leadership in understanding impacts of legacy data on current financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting federal financial systems, financial operations, or financial data management environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting CAS Suite, legacy financial systems, or financial data conversion/migration efforts.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, modernization initiatives, or large-scale data migration projects.
  • Experience performing financial reconciliations and data validation activities.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Management, or related discipline.

Clearance: Tier 1 Background Investigation or higher & CAC are required to Start.
