The School of Building Construction at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position. This position is a nine-month appointment dedicated primarily to the teaching and service missions of the School with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026.

The selected candidate is expected to teach three (3) undergraduate or, where applicable, graduate courses per semester in the School of Building Construction and contribute to service initiatives that support the School's academic programs and student success. Instructional areas include Construction Management fundamentals and may extend to Program Management, Facility Management, Real Estate and Finance, and other related areas within the built environment, depending on the candidate's qualifications, expertise, and interests.
We value candidates with significant industry experience who can connect theory and practice through applied learning, real-world case examples, and experiential learning.
In addition to teaching and service responsibilities, the selected candidate is expected to engage collaboratively with colleagues and students and maintain professional connections with industry. Additional responsibilities may include summer teaching, advising student competition teams, and involvement in service learning or global education programs.

- The ability to teach courses in Program and Facility Management and Real Estate Development and Finance
- The ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success
- The ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body on courses focused on Construction Management Fundamentals
- Expertise in operations, management, or pre-construction that complements BC's current curriculum and/or in two or more of the following areas: design-build, construction means and methods, fundamentals of construction management, construction cost management, and/or construction company management.
- Teaching experience, preferably with a demonstrated record of effective teaching in higher education
- Professional licensure or certifications
- Passion for teaching innovation and familiarity with instructional technologies.
