Overview
The Department of Mathematics at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time lecturer position, to begin August 2026. This is a one-year (nine-month), renewable appointment. Responsibilities will include teaching courses appropriate to the needs of the department and maintaining office hours. The teaching load is 8 courses (24 hrs) per academic year (Fall and Spring). Summer teaching is possible. Successful candidates must have earned at least a master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics and statistics completed before the employment start date. Evidence of excellence in teaching and interpersonal communication skills is also required.
For full consideration upload a cover letter, curriculum vitae, copy of your undergraduate and graduate transcripts (either official or unofficial), a list of at least three professional references, and a teaching statement.
