Join Our Team as a Leasing Specialist in Wausau, WI!

At Gorman & Company, we're committed to making a difference through our affordable housing. We're looking for a personable and driven Leasing Specialist to support the lease-up of Westside Commons, a 56-unit Low Income Housing Tax Credit community in Wausau, WI. In this role, you'll help prospective residents navigate the leasing process while creating a positive and welcoming experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Conduct community tours and guide prospects through the leasing and application process.

  • Prepare leases, applications, and resident documentation in accordance with LIHTC housing requirements.

  • Complete follow-up communication with prospects and support resident retention efforts.

  • Provide administrative support including filing, record maintenance, and service request coordination.

  • Assist with compliance interviews and coordinate documentation with the Compliance team.

  • Support outreach marketing, resident communications, and move-in/move-out processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience required.

  • LIHTC experience is a plus!

  • Experience with RealPage / OneSite property management software preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc) preferred.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records and filing systems.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
