Job description

PAID LEASING INTERNSHIP
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Leasing Intern to join our team. This hands-on internship offers real-world experience in residential leasing, community management, and digital marketing. You'll work directly alongside our leasing professionals, gaining exposure to every aspect of apartment leasing and resident relations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Leasing & Sales
  • Assist in leasing apartments by guiding prospective residents through the application and approval process.
  • Conduct engaging property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting community features and available units.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and leasing activity in the property management system.
  • Support the team in meeting monthly occupancy and leasing goals.
Social Media & Marketing
  • Create engaging content for Olive & Wooster's social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Photograph and highlight apartment units, community amenities, and resident events for digital marketing purposes.
  • Assist in developing and scheduling social media posts to promote availability, community culture, and leasing specials.
  • Monitor social media engagement and help respond to comments and inquiries online.
  • Support the creation of email campaigns and digital flyers to attract prospective residents.
Resident Events & Community
  • Help plan, organize, and host resident events that foster a welcoming and engaged community.
  • Assist in coordinating event logistics including vendors, supplies, and scheduling.
  • Actively participate in events and serve as a brand ambassador for Olive & Wooster.
  • Gather resident feedback and communicate with the team to continuously improve the resident experience.
  • Support move-in and move-out coordination to ensure a seamless resident journey.
Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Outgoing and personable with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate about social media and comfortable creating content across multiple platforms.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Customer-focused with a genuine enthusiasm for helping people find their perfect home.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with Canva or Adobe a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends as needed.
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
