Job description

The LARE Institute is a Private Occupational School branch of American Training with state, global, and industry-recognized certifications in Allied Health Care, Business, Trade and Education Programs. This award-winning center has been operating for more than 35 years and is licensed by the MA Division of Professional Licensure, Office of Private Occupational School Education. Itโ€™s a school with a fun and โ€œfamily-orientedโ€ approach to learning. Our programs are taught by extraordinary instructors in state-of-the-art facilities โ€“ย and we need you to join our team!

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver Career Training Services curriculum including Job Exploration Counseling, Workplace Readiness Training, Work-Based Learning Experiences, Post-Secondary Exploration, and Self-Advocacy instruction.
  • Develop and coordinate internships, employer partnerships, job tours, community-based learning experiences, and field trips.
  • Maintain required documentation, attendance records, service plans, progress notes, and outcome tracking in compliance with MassAbility and program requirements.
  • Collaborate with schools, families, employers, and community partners while representing American Training professionally and modeling its Mission andย WOW! Magic.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in transition services, vocational rehabilitation, special education, disability services, or related fields preferred.
  • Experience working with youth or young adults with disabilities preferred.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license, reliable transportation, satisfactory CORI, and appropriate insurance coverage required.
  • Spanish-speaking preferred.
