Job description

Service Line Specialist - Enterprise Learning Services (ELS)
About the Role
As a Service Line Specialist- Enterprise Learning Services (ELS) leader, you will make an impact by driving growth and expanding Cognizant's Enterprise Learning Services business across the U.S. East Coast. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Learning Services team and work collaboratively with Client Partners, industry leaders, solution architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to identify, pursue, and convert strategic opportunities that help clients transform workforce capabilities, learning ecosystems, and talent development programs.
In This Role, You Will
a. Generate Demand & Build Pipeline
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within target accounts across key verticals, building a robust and diversified pipeline of Learning Services engagements.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans that leverage Cognizant's broader portfolio to open doors and create Learning Services expansion opportunities.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle-from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close-with precision and urgency.
• Represent Cognizant Learning Services at industry events, forums, and client roundtables to expand brand visibility and generate inbound interest.
b. Be a Trusted Advisor to Clients
• Engage client stakeholders-from HR and L&D leaders to Chief People Officers and business unit executives-as a strategic peer, not a vendor.
• Diagnose organizational capability gaps and workforce transformation needs, translating them into compelling learning investment cases with clear ROI narratives.
• Design and co-develop tailored solutions that address clients' most complex learning and talent development challenges, drawing on the full breadth of Learning Services' capabilities.
• Maintain deep, enduring client relationships that evolve beyond the initial engagement into long-term strategic partnerships.
c. Collaborate Across Cognizant
• Partner closely with Cognizant's vertical industry leaders, client account teams, and technology practices to identify cross-sell and integrated solution opportunities.
• Work hand-in-hand with Learning Services' delivery, practice, and solution design teams to develop winning proposals and ensure seamless transition from sale to execution.
• Serve as the voice of the client internally shaping how Learning Services evolves its offerings, go-to-market approach, and thought leadership agenda.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and shared success, bringing intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset to every internal interaction.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • 8+ years of experience within technology services, consulting, enterprise learning, talent transformation, or related industries.
  • Proven success selling complex, solution-based services to enterprise clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative, value-based, and solution-selling expertise with the ability to develop compelling business cases and ROI-driven recommendations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise learning, workforce transformation, talent development, digital upskilling, and organizational capability-building initiatives.
  • Experience building pipeline from scratch, developing new markets, and driving net-new business growth.
  • Ability to influence and engage C-suite executives, Chief People Officers, HR leaders, and senior business decision-makers.

These Will Help You Stand Out
  • Experience selling Enterprise Learning Services, Managed Learning Services, Talent Transformation, HR Technology, or Workforce Development solutions.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled learning, skills-based workforce strategies, learning technologies, and future-of-work trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain executive-level client relationships across large, complex organizations.
  • Experience partnering across consulting, technology, and business service organizations to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and ability to navigate procurement, legal, and finance stakeholders during complex deal pursuits.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000-$180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
