The Role at a Glance
As part of the AI PMO team, this position serves as the Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional programs that deliver enterprise data platforms, data products, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, and the engineering foundations required to operate them securely, reliably, and at scale.
The role translates strategic priorities and technical roadmaps into executable plans; coordinates delivery across the AI, Data and Analytics team (AIDA) ; and establishes the governance, transparency, and delivery discipline needed to manage scope, dependencies, resources, risks, and measurable outcomes from discovery through production adoption. Hands-on proficiency with Jira is essential.
What you'll be doing
Program Leadership
  • Leads the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex AI, data, and engineering programs, including data platforms, analytics products, AI/ML solutions, APIs, integrations, and cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Partners with engineering leaders, architects, product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define program scope, priorities, success measures, and delivery approaches.
  • Translates product, architecture, and technology roadmaps into integrated program plans with clear milestones, dependencies, resource needs, and release targets.
  • Facilitates program operating rhythms, including planning sessions, dependency reviews, risk discussions, release readiness assessments, and executive updates.

Technical Program Management
  • Develops sufficient technical understanding to participate credibly in architecture and engineering discussions, identify risks, surface delivery gaps, and communicate tradeoffs.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and drives resolution of program risks, issues, and dependencies, including data quality, environment readiness, infrastructure, security, governance, and competing engineering priorities.
  • Coordinates delivery activities across software development, cybersecurity, architecture, privacy, data governance, AI governance, change management, and release management functions.
  • Drives release and production readiness across teams, including testing, deployment planning, adoption activities, support readiness, and post-implementation reviews.

Jira, Delivery Excellence & Communication
  • Uses Jira as the primary system of record for program execution, maintaining visibility into work, dependencies, releases, delivery progress, and program health.
  • Establishes delivery standards for backlog management, estimation, ownership, status reporting, dependency tracking, and release planning.
  • Produces clear communications and reporting for technical teams and senior leaders, including status updates, dashboards, roadmaps, risk summaries, and recommendations.
  • Improves program delivery practices by standardizing workflows, reporting, governance routines, and tools that increase transparency, quality, and execution speed.

What we're looking for
Must Haves
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • 5 - 7+ Years experience in Project/Program Management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • Strong understanding of software development, engineering delivery, data platforms, analytics solutions, cloud technologies, or AI/ML implementations.
  • Experience using Jira for planning, execution, dependency management, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

The pay range for this position is $96,900 - $176,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
