Job description

Role Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a very complex program in our newly formed AI Labs team. You will enable all areas of the firm with the knowledge, best practices, governance, training, and other resources needed to bring the power of AI, starting with Generative AI. This involves managing and overseeing the program daily operations as well as collaborating with multiple disciplines across the firm - Technology, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Enterprise Learning, CFO organization, Investments, Distributions, etc. - as well as external consultants and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates a wide array of activities associated with planning and managing a highly complex program, identifies, and organizes use cases, develops detailed program plans and roadmaps, manages program interdependencies, and ensures cohesive & timely execution.
  • Is responsible for program management activities such as defining, tracking & reporting on program key performance indicators (KPIs), issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, communications, stakeholder & other relationship management.
  • Works with & coordinates successfully all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute.
  • Resolves issues & challenges so that the program goals and requirements are met.
  • Continuously evaluates and improves operational processes.
  • Conducts market & industry research & develops content relevant to AI and the Financial Services industry.
  • Is responsible for the preparation of program materials or documentation.
  • Helps with program data collection and analysis.

Business Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of /experience in Asset Management, Finance or FinTech is preferred.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale efforts spanning multiple business units within large complex financial services organizations.
  • High proficiency in using all MS 365 apps.
  • Experience with building simple data analysis spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Comfortable with learning new business intelligence and other technologies - e.g. Power BI - as needed.
  • Comfortable with carrying out research around a topic - online, literature, etc.
  • Excellent soft and communication skills and proven ability to work and manage multiple relationships and stakeholders at the same time.
  • Organized, detail oriented, can work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Interested in coming up with pro-active solutions, ideas, and plans - not to simply execute. At the same time, they are practical - not plan to perfection delaying execution indefinitely.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Generative AI, LLMs and/or AI is highly preferred. In the least the candidate has enormous natural curiosity & desire to learn about all aspects of AI in asset management - from regulatory frameworks and training to use cases.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.
