Summary

OCALI is a recognized global leader in creating and connecting resources and relationships to ensure that people with disabilities have the opportunity to live their best lives for their whole lives. We are seeking a Program Manager for the Center for the Young Child's Early Childhood Center of Excellence. OCALI offers a competitive salary, benefits, and retirement package.

In partnership with the CYC Program Director, this position will lead the work ofย the Early Childhood Center of Excellence team. Daily requirements will vary widely, including the management of personnel, deadlines and workflow, coordinating ordering and dissemination of materials and equipment, scheduling meetings and appointments, drafting reports and other documents, coordinating communication and collaboration within OCALI and with outside partners, and tracking the status of deliverables.

Minimumย Qualifications:

  • Three orย moreย yearsย ofย experienceย inย project coordination
  • Experienceย inย coordinating teamsย and clientsย smoothlyย andย efficiently
  • Proven abilityย toย perform tasksย independently andย inย aย team setting, working with diverse people and projects
  • Demonstrates accuracy, proficiency, andย responsivenessย withย written,ย verbal, and presentation skills
  • Abilityย toย prioritize between multiple andย changing dailyย tasks,ย whileย effectively managing short, mid- and long-term projects and meeting deadlines
  • Mindsetย toย approach situations andย challenges withย flexibility and positivity
  • Experience andย proficiency withย technology applications (including butย notย limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, etc.), Mac-based operating systems, project management systems, and online environments
  • Willingness toย learnย newย technologies andย programs asย needed.ย

  • Experience with data collection and analysis

Responsibilitiesย andย Essentialย Functions:

  • Effectively manage Center of Excellence deliverables independently and collaborativelyย with the Program Director and theย Center forย theย Young Childย team members
  • Provide direct supervision to staff members, including recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and ongoing support
  • Use reflective supervision techniques to foster professional growth, identify strengths, and support continuous improvement
  • Delegate responsibilities, manage workload distribution, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
  • Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture that supports innovation, accountability, and well-being
  • Monitor staff performance through check-ins, goal setting, and regular evaluations
  • Maintain accurate records of supervision meetings, performance reviews, and staff development activities.
  • Design, document, and refine internal processes, tools, and workflows to support team efficiency, consistency, and knowledge sharing across projects and personnel
  • Coordinate internal andย external resources, ensuring thatย projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyze project progressย and, whenย necessary, adaptย scope orย timeline to achieve optimal results
  • Oversee the management, distribution, and tracking of accessible materials and equipment
  • Work collaborativelyย across and withinย theย Center forย theย Young Child,ย OCALI IST, and MarCom teams to deliver on project marketing and stakeholder communication
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to ensure timely dissemination of project updates, promotional materials, and stakeholder communications
  • Develop andย maintain a projectย performance database thatย tracksย overall progress and achievement of milestones
  • Review, facilitate, and analyze data from professional development, including webinars and training content, in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Serveย asย aย point ofย communication between internal teamย members andย external resources and stakeholders
  • Deepen collaboration withย external partners, includingย cross-sector early childhood professionals, state leaders, and family members by participating in meetings, community events, conferences, and other opportunities
  • Track, document, and communicate proactively on the status of projects; Report project risksย andย outcomes toย appropriate management channels, escalate issues and risks, and problem-solve potential solutions
  • Support organizationalย commitment toย develop accessible materials andย provide an accessible environment and experiences for our staff and partners
  • Otherย dutiesย as mayย beย reasonablyย requiredย fromย timeย to time
