Position Summary... What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Transformation and Enablement will lead central strategic workstreams to achieve key priorities for short- and long-term plans at WMC International and Sam’s Club MAP​; cross-market and cross-functional ways of working and business connectivity, ultimately facilitating decision-making for executive audiences.
This Senior Manager will absorb complex, evolving thoughts and data from several leaders to define clear, hypothesis-driven narratives and workstreams that clarify situations and present options or recommendations in an executive-friendly way. They will manage what needs to be decided or communicated for different audiences by synthesizing and sense checking inputs and taking accountability for end deliverables.
About the team:
Transformation and Enablement within the central Business Strategy & Operations organization of WMC International and Sam’s Club MAP helps shape the strategic direction and operating rhythm by translating complex problems into clear action plans.
What you'll do:
Lead central strategic workstreams to achieve key priorities for short- and long-term planning
·     Disambiguate and drive path forward on multi-faceted business questions: Both proactively through pre-defined workstreams and as catcher on ad-hoc workstreams
·     Drive alignment and accountability across stakeholders by defining clear workback plans and tracking inputs, action items, milestones, and execution progress
Drive cross-market and cross-functional ways of working and business connectivity
·     Define the right stakeholders/roles and partner with teams to diagnose key areas to solve for and develop objective hypotheses on what path forward options
·     Manage iterations based on inputs from stakeholders, effectively taking people along on the journey
What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting and/or corporate strategy at large, matrixed organizations
  • Experience within advertising or eCommerce preferred, especially at Walmart Connect
  • Hypothesis-driven thinking to reach answers early, balanced with ability and patience to listen, communicate, and manage stakeholders
  • Crisp, audience-focused communications skills to define complex situations and paths forward in an executive, understandable way
  • Strong executive presence to engage effectively and push back with stakeholders that may have misalignment with a project or with other stakeholders
  • Ability to operate independently and manage process proactively
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrixed and evolving business environments

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00
