Job description

Volt is immediately hiring a Production Associate in Carpinteria, California 93013.
As a Production Associate you will:
  • Perform production assignments manually or by using filling, labeling, and packaging equipment
  • Count, weigh, and measure materials to ensure manufacturing batches contain proper materials and quantities
  • Complete and maintain device history records, including line clearance and verification documentation
  • Conduct continuous inspections of labels, vials, sub-assemblies, and/or finished products
  • Identify and report nonconformances or production issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing work area
  • Coordinate material movement; receive, store, and distribute materials and inventory
  • Perform inventory accuracy checks and basic administrative tasks
  • Kit materials required for production and interface with the warehouse team
  • Complete required training in the client's learning management system
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and digital innovation efforts
  • Perform transactions in the ERP system as required

This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday, 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to laboratory and biochemical hazards, including toxic, caustic, or suspected carcinogenic materials
  • Ability to work in cold room temperatures (2-8°C) and environments with fumes and odors.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience (preferred, not required)

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.84 per hour
