Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, Virginia, as a Learning Standards Specialist. The SCSTC domain includes the Command Staff in Dahlgren, VA, SCSTC Units, Sites, Detachments worldwide, and training locations including shipyards, Fleet Surface Ships, and Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF). Services to be provided will support various areas, including Manpower and Personnel, Infrastructure Support, Functional Integration Management (FIM), Training Management Support, and Training Systems Acquisition and Lifecycle Support for U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Learning Standards Office (LSO) Training Support
  • Perform training analysis of existing and proposed courses/materials, ensuring compliance with current guidance
  • Contribute to the development of Business Case Analysis (BCAs), Front-End Analysis (FEAs), and Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA)
  • Develop, update, and deliver AIM-based products and SCORM-compliant material for the Navy’s Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support curriculum pilots and provide feedback in accordance with NAVEDTRA 130 series
  • Analyze change recommendations and assess their impact on system readiness and user functionality for both U.S. Navy and FMS
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Navy Training Management, training material development, and life cycle maintenance
  • Familiarity with Electronic Classroom (ECR) environments, including ECR LAN webpages and My Navy Portal (MNP) Community of Practice (COP)
  • Experience in curriculum test item analysis and Learning Management Systems (LMSs)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze the impact of change recommendations on system readiness and user functionality for both U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
  • Knowledge of releasability and disclosure issues for FMS training tools and materials
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet personal commitments to both the customer and team members

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
