LMS & Documentation Specialist – Workforce Development

We are seeking an LMS & Documentation Specialist to support a Workforce Development team in Boise, ID. This position focuses on Learning Management System (LMS) administration, training records, documentation management, and workforce development support.

This is a structured, process-driven position that is well suited for someone with experience in LMS support, technical documentation, training coordination, document control, SharePoint, data management, or manufacturing operations.

You will work with established templates, standards, and processes to maintain training content, documentation, certifications, and system data.

** Semiconductor experience is not required.**

What You'll Do

** Learning Management System (LMS) Support**

  • Maintain and update learning management system content, assignments, and training records.
  • Monitor and follow up on training requests.
  • Audit training content and assignments for accuracy.
  • Create and manage on-the-job training (OJT) certifications for controlled documents.
  • Support new training program setups and updates.
  • Perform system navigation, data entry, and record maintenance.
  • Follow established learning administrator and training content standards.

** Documentation Management**

  • Monitor and follow up on documentation change requests.
  • Create, update, format, and maintain documentation using established templates and standards.
  • Edit and proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Store documents in the appropriate repository and follow data management requirements.
  • Maintain documentation system data and records.

Qualifications

** Required**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Approximately 2 years of experience creating, maintaining, or managing technical documentation related to systems, equipment, processes, or operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, templates, standards, and workflows.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems, databases, and structured data.

** Preferred**

  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 , particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with training records, document control, controlled documentation, or certification tracking.
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience supporting workforce development or employee training programs.
