Job description

Sales Enablement Manager
Miami, FL (Hybrid)
Boats Group is looking for an experienced Sales Enablement Manager to build, lead, and scale a best-in-class enablement function that turns our Sales and Account Management teams into trusted product and industry experts.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, product, sales, and customer experience and is directly responsible for how clearly, confidently, and professionally Boats Group shows up for customers every day. The Sales Enablement Manager will establish the standards, training, tools, and coaching that ensure customers understand our products, see their value, and know how to get the most out of their membership.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has built sales enablement before - someone who knows what "great" looks like, how to operationalize it, and how to build a team that delivers it consistently. You will not inherit a mature enablement function; you will create it.
What You'll Do
Build and Lead Sales Enablement
  • Design, implement, and own a scalable sales enablement operating model across Sales and Account Management
  • Define clear, enforceable standards for:
    • Product knowledge and certification
    • Customer consultation and discovery
    • Professional communication and follow-through
  • Build and grow a dedicated sales engineering and enablement team, using a clear point of view on roles, responsibilities, and success metrics
  • Establish enablement as a core business function with measurable impact

Deliver World-Class Training & Onboarding
  • Own onboarding for all new Sales and Account Mgmt hires, with defined milestones, certifications, and time-to-proficiency targets
  • Create structured learning paths by role and customer segment (new hire, tenured rep, enterprise vs. mid-size customers, etc)
  • Build and maintain playbooks, talk tracks, objection handling guides, and customer consultation frameworks
  • Implement ongoing coaching programs that focus on:
    • Product mastery
    • Quality of customer conversations
    • Professional presence and accountability

Create Product & Value Experts
  • Ensure Sales and Account teams can confidently and consistently explain:
    • How Boats Group products work (end to end, not just features)
    • Why those products matter for different customer segments
    • How customers should use them to drive real business outcomes
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to translate complex capabilities into clear, customer-ready messaging
  • Raise overall industry fluency so teams understand the customers they serve and can speak credibly to their needs

Elevate the Customer Experience
  • Ensure customers receive a consistent, clear, and professional experience regardless of who they work with at Boats Group
  • Align enablement programs to reinforce behaviors that build trust, confidence, and long-term relationships
  • Establish expectations for ownership and follow-through in customer interactions

Drive Consistency & Accountability
  • Standardize how products, value, and membership benefits are explained across the organization, with clear variations by customer segment
  • Define success metrics for enablement, including:
    • Product certification rates
    • Time to productivity for new hires
    • Consistency and quality of customer interactions
  • Regularly assess performance and iterate training, tools, and coaching based on results and feedback

What You should have
  • 5-7+ years in Sales Enablement or Sales Training, with experience building or transforming an existing Enablement team
  • Proven leader who has hired, developed, and coached high-performing enablement teams
  • Deeply customer-focused, with a high bar for professionalism, clarity, and consistency
  • Exceptional communicator who can simplify complex products without losing accuracy
  • Highly organized, process-driven, and capable of building repeatable programs that scale

What You'll Receive:
  • Hybrid Work Flexibility: Embrace a balanced work model with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in-office collaboration from Tuesday to Thursday.
  • Generous Time Off: With a strong focus on work/life balance, we offer all employees paid time off starting on day one, multiple paid holidays throughout the year, your birthday off, and a winter break at the end of the year
  • Volunteering Time: Participate in our volunteer program with 4 paid days annually to contribute to your community.
  • Modern Office Perks: Our vibrant Miami office features cutting-edge amenities, such as an electric sit/stand desk, dual monitors, a gym, and a variety of snacks and beverages.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Enjoy top-tier Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance, along with a 401(k) plan featuring a 4% match.
  • Commuter Benefits: Park conveniently in our building's garage at no charge to you. For train commuters, we subsidize most, if not all, of your monthly pass expenses.
  • Professional Development: Take advantage of online training, live courses, and additional funds for courses, seminars, and certifications to enhance your skills.
  • Team-Centric Atmosphere: Be part of a close-knit team that prioritizes relationship-building and personal connections.
